Following breakfast we take a bus trip through Tuscan-like landscape to the little village of Hum - known as the smallest town in the world. We visit the museum, wander the streets and take the opportunity to sample herbal brandies. Biska, a brandy made with a touch of mistletoe, is highly recommended. This area is also famous for it’s truffles and after visiting Hum we go truffle hunting in the local forest before enjoying a truffle inspired lunch. We finish the day by visitng another quaint village perched high on the hills and known for it’s galleries.

  • Explore Hum, officially known as the smallest town in the world! This charming fortified village dates back to the late 11th century and is home to just 30 residents. Steeped in history and character, it offers a truly unique and picturesque experience. You will also have the opportunity to sample some of the liquers from the region.

  • Experience a lecture on the famous Istrian truffle and enjoy a truffle hunt with experienced truffle hunters and their dogs. This is followed up with a light lunch featuring truffles.

  • Visit a small hilltop town known for its music and artists. Though quiet at this time of year, it is still a beautiful place to visit and explore.
