Following breakfast we take a bus trip through Tuscan-like landscape to Rovinj, where we explore this pretty fishing port town with its inclined narrow streets. Take the opportunity to shop, photograph or enjoy the varied views of the 13 islands of the Rovinj archipelago. There will be time to do some sketching for those who wish to. In the afternoon we return to Opatija via the town of Motovun. Here you can sample herbal brandies. Biska, a brandy made with a touch of mistletoe, is highly recommended. This area is also famous for it’s truffles. We have about an hour or two to explore and enjoy this captivating little town perched high on a hill with magnificent views.
